The defense team, led by Leye Adepoju, had informed the court when they case was called, that they would be seeking an adjournment dues to some reasons which are germane to the defense of the matter.

“My Lord, the matter was slated for defense in view of the fact that the prosecution has closed its case. Regrettably, we must seek your Lordship’s indulgence to have an adjournment. Hephzibah: Me, I’m waiting for Trump’s ‘side of the story’….

Hephzibah: Hmm, I understand the harsh realities. Still….

Hephzibah: ‘Alleging the marginalisation of the zone in the federal structure, Fayose said, “How much did the Federal Government allocate to irrigation, construction of dams and storage facilities to boost agriculture in the South-West?”’

I know my ‘uncle’ likes wahala but is he lying?

Hephzibah: When will be allowed to transfer our wards and update our Voter’s cards? Some of us have changed vital details on our Voter’s Cards o. Please, don’t disenfranchise us again, abeg.

Hephzibah: I wonder how they’ll decide which children deserve this? I personally think the FG is out of line with this feeding of school children thing sha. Abeg, no give my pikin food o.

Hephzibah: Na wa o, Adele. Na only you pack all the Grammys…It is well…

Hephzibah: This guy sha… God will help him…

Hephzibah: As usual, the devil made him do it and her family should ‘forgive and forget’…Sigh!

Hephzibah's Commentary on Today's News
13/02/2017

Hephzibah: So, why did you go to jail in the UK sir? This 'half gist' is not 'werking' for me sir. If you didn't have enough time to complete the gist, why did you start it na?

2. Whistle-blower Policy: FG recovers 42bn loot from bank with fake name.
12 bn also recovered from other sources - Minister

Hephzibah: Where is the 54bn now? Is it secure? Will it be part of the money we'll spend for CAPITAL EXPENDITURE? Can I have 2m from the money as a prospective BMC blogger? Who has loot, abeg? It's been a long time but since I blew a whistle...

Hephzibah: All of you that will meet someone online and rush to have a 'nice time', you need to read this.

Hephzibah: I think Henry Boyo and I woke up from the same side of the bed today, lol. I agree with him. I guess we'll analyze his post in the Professionals Without Borders group this week.

Hephzibah: Sounds like a welcome development. I just need to know how these "others" were chosen. Who are they and what interests do they represent.

Hephzibah: I thought he was supposed to return yesterday na. Abeg, he should not rush; we are not yet missing him...

Hephzibah: Government should remove 5bn from the 54bn recovered loot and give them. They can source for the remaining 5bn in the capital market, right?

Hephzibah: Which kind of question is that? Heck no...Next...

Hephzibah: Are you interested in catfish farming? Are you interested in food business? The LASG say they are ready to support anyone willing to contribute to the food security agenda of the state. I'll research and share on my business blog.

Hephzibah: Nigerian long distance runners blamed their poor showing in the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, #RunLagos, on inadequate competitions and poor preparations. I wonder who they are actually blaming for poor preparations - themselves or Hephzibah? Who will help them prepare? They should park well abeg. I can empathize if they talk about not having many competitions, though we can ask them how many organizations they have approached.

Justice For Oluwashola Gaska

The family of Mrs. Oluwashola Gaska (nee Adefolalu) has petitioned the Federal Government to unravel the mystery surrounding her death in Poland and the cremation of her corpse by her husband, Mr. Jakub Gaska, without their consent. .

The deceased’s elder sister, Mrs. Abimbola Essien-Nelson, at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, alleged that Oluwashola was murdered and her corpse hastily cremated to cover it despite the family’s objection.

In the petition, dated January 29, 2017, and titled, ‘Petition against Mr. Jakub Gaska for the murder, unlawful cremation and burial of Oluwashola Atunrayo Gaska (nee Adefolalu) in Krakow, Poland, on December 28, 2016,’ the family detailed how the late Oluwashola, who studied in Poland, settled in the country and later married Gaska in 2010. .

The petition read in part, “The last verbal conversation I had with the deceased took place on December 24, 2016, and she made no complaint about her health. At about 11.28am, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, I received a telephone call from the husband that ‘there had been an accident, Shola had fallen unconscious and had died.’

“The husband did not tell me the nature of the so called accident. I was still conversing with the husband when the telephone was disconnected. “The husband later called me back on the same day, stating that Oluwashola fell ill on Tuesday, and that he and his sister took her to the a hospital (the name of the hospital was not provided). He said she passed away at about 3am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.” .
